The in-person action that is part of the Koripako Humanitarian Mission, led by Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein, with the support of Saúde Digital Brasil, was the subject of an extensive report in Jornal Hoje. Caio Soares, vice president of SDB and leader of the project, and Anselmo Alves de Souza, Founder of MedBR, a company associated with SDB, were part of the in-person mission.
The telehealth capsule developed by Saúde Digital Brasil, in partnership with the company OBH Energy, was also highlighted. It made it possible to carry out consultations in remote regions of Alto Içana, in the Amazon, and in Colombia, where the Koripakos live. This technology was essential, as it enabled access to the internet via satellite and solar energy.
It is worth noting that even after the end of the in-person work, the Koripako Mission continues, now 100% through teleconsultations. The SDB has assumed responsibility for providing services with family and community doctors, as well as nutritionists and psychologists, for the next three months, and has the support of the following partner companies of the project:
DOC24
Dr. Online
Sabin Group
MedBr
Teladoc Health
TopMed Digital Health
Tuinda Care
Vibe Health
Furthermore, the in-person action received support from the Brazilian Army, and the entire Koripako Humanitarian Mission has the support of the DSEI Alto Rio Negro.
